What if sitting and standing upright could feel effortless? What if you could feel naturally tall? Join us to uncover and begin to change movement habits which interfere with your ability to do what you choose. Leave sitting and standing with greater ease, feeling stronger, and breathing easier.
You’ll be guided through small, slow functional movements. As you attend to how you move, new choices will be suggested.
All you need are:
• A blanket or yoga mat
• Loose-fitting clothes, with an extra layer in case you cool off
• Curiosity
You learn most movement practices from the outside in, by imitation. A Feldenkrais® lesson invites you to learn from the inside out, at your own pace. Take your discoveries into your yoga practice or into your everyday life. This workshop is great for yogis, athletes or anyone who sits for extended periods of time.
